(I don't know if this is the correct forum for this question - if not,
then my apologies).
I have a completely unsecure MPE 5.5 machine, which I have put Samba/ix
on.
I have configured the smb.conf file with the following entry (I said it
was insecure - but it's only a porting machine, so I don't care),
[all]
comment = mpe/ix 5.5
guest ok = yes
write ok = yes
browseable = yes
path = /
On this machine, I can see, edit and write files in the Samba account,
but not in my own account. As far as I can tell (I am no MPE expert), my
account is more open than the Samba account.
Both accounts have no passwords (yeah, I know I know).
Any ideas what I can look at?
