Does anyone know of a solution to this problem. I have DDS2 tape drives
on all of my systems. When I perform a RoadRunner backup on System A, I
have no problem restoring it to System A. When I try to restore to
System B, however, I get the following errors:
/10:07/ RoadRunner ERROR 524: An error occurred while reading the media
volume on device 7
/10:07/ MPE XL status: Subsystem 113, error -35
/10:07/ RoadRunner ERROR 81: Restore of file FILENAME.GROUP.ACCT
cancelled due to backup media error
It doesn't appear that there are any problems with the drives, and my HP
CE suggested that I check hardware compression, which I did, and I made
sure they were the same on Systems A and B. Other than a bad tape
drive, does anyone have any ideas?
