As I recall, the RESUMESPOOL command automatically resumes where it left
off, so instead of going forward 53 pages, you might want to go back a few
pages to reprint the crumpled pages. Another problem might be the
definition of a page. I believe RESUMESPOOL counts formfeeds. If the
report you are printing doesn't do formfeeds, just relying on page overflow,
you can't skip pages - you'll have to skip lines.

Subject: Looking for a better control over spooler print recovery than
resumespool forward xxx pages

When my hp2563B printer jams (serial printer), and say I have 53 of 200
pages printed, suspendspool 6 resuspool 6;forward 53 pages sends my print
job to god knows where sometimes saying that I am past the spool size limit.

Is there any software that can precisely resume printing from where you left
off after
say reajusting the printer paper?

Thank you,
