Hello Jack Connor, All @ 3000-L,

RE: SIB '04 update #2 (FTP SIB Enhancements)

The answer for MPE/iX 6.0 is "no". We have discussed this before on the
news group; MPE/iX O.S. support for large files > 4gb is implemented at
MPE/iX 6.5 and FTP/iX is dependant on this enhanced functionality as well as
the fact that MPE/iX 6.0 is off support for several years. No further
changes will be implemented with FTP/iX 6.0.

The answer for support of the FTP enhancements on MPE/iX 6.5 and 7.0 is yes
it is in the plan, but we find very few customers are willing to install
these patches as alpha test (going on now) or beta test. The SIB 2003
enhancements on MPE/iX 6.5 and 7.0 were not available as General Release for
 > 1 year do to lack of interest (no one would install them as Beta Test
patches). It is hard to justify working on patches for 6.5 and 7.0 in these
conditions.

If you are willing to be part of the Alpha test of the new FTP/iX
functionality on MPE/iX 6.5, 7.0 or 7.5 let me know now.
