To give a more accurate description of the subtext of the movie, I should have
said:

"The story is ultimately one of Klaatu's performance of miracles, which are so
profound and powerful that they result in his persecution, murder, entombment,
with his body freed from the tomb by the angel, and his resurrection, so that
he may leave Earth with a warning, that message being essentially the
Christian Doctrine of Free Will: mankind can either prosper in a paradise on
Earth or perish in fiery hell."

If you're going to get anything right on HP3000-L, it's probably most
important that you get the off-topic stuff correct first :-).
