i believe we had a discussion awhile back about a 'feature'
in restore that indicates that more files were restored than
actually were.  am i right in thinking this is a bug?  or is
it a miss understanding of how to use restore now that it's
been posix enabled?  or is it something else?

now if it is in fact a bug, does hp know about this --
formally?  has an sr been placed?  has a sig picked it
up?            - d
