Cannot speak for HP here, but when I read the Samba security
note a couple of days ago, I was curios enough to build 2.2.8
for MPE/iX by applying the 2.2.5 diffs from my web page. Did
work with nearly no manual adjustments. So if you should have
a pressing need for a (not hp supported) Samba 2.2.8 version
for MPE/iX, I can provide you a .tar.Z with the binaries.
