The introductory clause of the posting pretty much says it all
"Personal-computer maker Hewlett-Packard Co.".

At one time, hp was one of the world's great innovative technology
companies, now it's viewed as a competitor to Dell.

That's somewhat like the architect of the World Trade Center building
mobile homes.
