Richard,
I don't have any specifics. It just that I have heard the rumor before
and it was recently re-iterated by somebody near me that there is (was)
something to do with key sizes or record numbers and the capacity of the
Omnidex dataset that impacted the performance and possibly even prevented
the functionality of Omnidex. Perhaps it's just like most rumors, more are
then anything else.
Thanx,

Jon,
Doesn't ring any bells with me. If you'd like to send some specifics
to me or to [log in to unmask], we'll see what we can come up with.

People,
An old rumor as reemerged and I would like to finally put it to
rest.
Is there something to do with the capacity of the omnidex added datasets
(pre 3.0) and the number of records in the dataset that has omnidex
applied
to it? The rumor, although not clear, has something to do with the
record
numbers of the "real" data and the size of the omnidex added datasets.
Does
any of this ring a bell with anybody?
Thanx,
Jon Backus
