Howdy,

On Nov 3, 1997 Jon Bale of Hp posted regarding a problem with
DDX potentially writing records beyond the EOF marker.  He listed
several patch numbers, the one I need being TIXKX11.  I just got
off the phone with HPRC and apparently this/these patches have not
yet been released.  Additionally they are (apparently) incorporated
in the latest "bug fix" release, which also apparently not been
released yet.  HPRC is doing further checking.

Has anyone actually gotten this fix?  I'm getting ready to disable
DDX on all detail sets until this is resolved (there goes Sunday.  And
my wife.  My dog doesn't like me much anymore either).
