Thank you to all who helped with this request. We were able to successfully
use the REXEC program to accomplish our desired tasks. Thanks for pointing
us in the right directions!

Subject: Using TELNET in Batch

>Hi,
>
>When performing a production move of source code one of the steps required
>is to start a Korn Shell script on a Unix system to complete the process.
>The preferred way to run the Korn shell script is to log on as a TELNET

>job to log on to the Unix server and start the script. We know that TELNET
>generically does not run in batch but is there a setting we can use to
>override this option and successfully run TELNET on the HP3000 and complete
