I hope everyone is awake, and reading the HP3000-L right now ;-)
Our HP-3000 crashed with FLT 3x00 failure, therefore we need to replace
the system board, which in turn will change our HPSUSAN. I understand
some software licenses are dependent on the HPSUSAN number, and when we
replace the system board some software will choose not to run. We are
dependent on Speedware, Cognos, Espul, Vesoft Secure/3000 and MPEX, and
QWEBS.
The repairs are currently in progress, and I do not have the new
HPSUSAN yet. This situation came about so suddenly I haven't had time to
prepare, anyone have any advice, things to lookout for, or known
gatcha's related to a 9x9 KS system board replacement.
It's going to be a long night, I have that feeling that I am forgetting
something :-(
