I purchased the HP symbolic debugger... and I definitely would NOT classify
it as good... it works (barely) but is extremely limited and stepping is
very slow. It can also completely lock on Initialize statements.

Any subprograms you wish to debug must be linked into the executable, you
cannot step into an XL.

Also, I have not found a way to step over a performed paragraph, which means
I must set many intermediate breakpoints or step through every paragraph.

If you find a decent product, let me know.... I very much regret buying the
HP product.
