As usual Mark is correct, and I was not clear.

The firefox extension is Force-TLS, not iFiresheep.

The add on, tries to force sites to use https.

Just to be clear, FireSheep is the add-on used to hijack other sessions. It
does NOT protect you from anything. The author created the app to show how
insecure open Wi-Fi is.
