Thanks to all who have replied so far. What I'm looking for is a daemon
that I can run on my machine that
"shares" the modem which is attached to it to other people on the network -
a bit like the Novell Printer-Sharing
thing. AFAIK, Novell don't have such a thing.

So for the time being, we're looking for a T-Switch <g>
