Tony,

I would suspect that you may be having a DLT go bad.  I just had one
start taking a lot longer time to restore.  I took the same tape and
put it in another drive and it worked just fine.

Have you made any change to q-accelerator or did you just start using
it?  That may affect store times.

This wont help the backup, but should reduce some overhead

Change your SOSMONJ job, line 61

 61  Y    ! Should disc space utilization info be logged

Change it to N

Also, why are you running SCOPE AND SOSMONJ?
