The AIF team has been known to document features of AIF calls that
don't exist. When we loaded 4.0 and saw some new goodie in the OS AIF
manual, we wrote a program which aborted on the AIF call.  I forget the
specifics, but when we phoned PICS to report the unexpected status codes
they told us the underlying AIF code had not actualy been written at that
time.
