Greetings!

At our site, we've been discussing the need for some kind of
intelligent monitor software for the HP3000 which could detect whether
a process or job had exceeded run time threshholds or resource limits
(e.g, looping process) and automatically notify someone (pager, phone,
etc.). Most job schedulers (we use JMS/3000) have the capability of
limiting run-times to a degree, but cannot do notification. I don't
think this strictly fits within the features of HP's Workload Manager,
either. Does someone know of such a beast? I'll be at HP World '96
next week and would be happy to speak to any vendor who could provide
some solutions.

TIA for your help.
