Just the database?  What about user data in other files? :)

In case the answer is "we'd like to wipe all the data", let me mention our
product, WipeDisk for MPE.

That page also discusses the shortcomings of using VOLUTIL:FORMATVOL to try to 
wipe a disk drive.

In addition to wiping a disk drive, WipeDisk can wipe individual files and 
databases.
