In your NPCONFIG.PUB.SYS file include a setting for TCP_port_number as
follows:

502    (network_address = x.x.x.x           # ACI Laserjet II
        TCP_port_number = 9100              # Port number 1
        setup_file = LPLJII.HPENV.SYS       # Landscape setup file
        pjl_supported = FALSE               # Not PJL device
        jam_recovery = FALSE)               # No reprint jammed pages

9100 is port 1, 9101 is port 2, 9102 is port 3 on the JetDirect
