Seems like that is a missing link in HP's current "customer
focused" strategy.  There are some things that can't (or at
least shouldn't) wait until they bubble to the top of one or
another of the SIG enhancement lists.

...  And I can just hear some of the HP managers saying
"those darn users;  first they say they want us to listen to
them and now we're doing that and now they say that's not
enough.  There's no satisfying these people !!".

Mea culpa;  it's true:  HP 3000 users have high standards.
...  Nobody said being world-class was going to be easy..
