If you want to use MPE/iX network printing then the printer MUST understand
basic PCL (Note: Postscript printers either understand or ignore the PCL).
There is no way around this. No secret directives for npconfig, no magic
pill set-up file. Some non-PCL printers will fail more spectacularly than
others (depending upon how they interpret PCL escape sequences), but they
will all fail to print correctly.
