I installed one c2490, bought at an electronics store for $898,
on a 957 a few weeks ago. It has worked fine, predictive has
not complained. I've lost two HP 2GB disks so far, bought from HP. Each
only lasted one year. They are in the minitower.
The drive won't work as a bootable disk, but only LDEV 1 needs
to be bootable.
I'm not too thrilled with predictive, since neither time did
it notify me of a pending disk crash!
