TAPECOPY and STORCOPY were HP unsupported utilities supplied with the
TELESUP account traditionally deposited on systems for support reasons.
I believe they were only available on MPEV (not iX) systems and
both are CMPROGs. While TAPECOPY could handle some other variants,
STORCOPY was strictly oriented towards CMSTORE format tapes.
I've had some good luck with these tools but ONLY with CMSTORE.
NMSTORE tapes can have records on it with a width > 16K words
which no utility using FOPEN style intrinsics (as TAPECOPY and
STORCOPY do) can handle. There are no plans to change or update
these tools.

Unfortunately the only answer I know of for NMSTORE is third party
solutions.
