In my experience, no -- the UDC catalog must be respecified (:SETCATALOG) if the
user is added back to the system. I assume that this means that COMMAND.PUB.SYS
(I know this is what you meant ... :-)) is maintained by the directory services
routines.

The account definitely gets purged, yes; UDCs residing in another account
are not. That seems pretty intuitive. But what about CATALOG.PUB.SYS - is
it "cleaned"?
That is, if I subsequently build the same account and add the same users,
will their UDCs be mysteriously re-activated due to the entries in
CATALOG.PUB.SYS?
