Looking for a little help. I am very interested in whatever you may
be doing in the area of centralized system management of multiple
HP3000's. I am not so much looking for consolidation of the physical
console(although I am very interested in that), but consolidation of
system management events. I know OpenView IT/Operations is one option
since its agent can monitor console messages. I know the PC-based
OpenView System Manager is another option if I want to monitor just my
HP3000s. I do not know of any non-HP products that will do this on
the HP3000. So, my request to anyone willing to take a few minutes to
     reply:

     1. What, if anything, are you using?
     2. What kinds of events are you trapping?
     3. What do you like/dislike about it(be brief, not looking for
success or horror stories, just real-life opinions).
     4. Do you know of any non-HP solutions?
     5. Do you know of any HP solutions I haven't mentioned(I'm goin' to
feel real stoopid if there are any and I haven't found them. That
doesn't include OpenView Console, it's basically OpenView System
     Manager, IMO).

     TIA,
