Sendmail/iX can be used for this. We do the same since off-loading
OpenDesk. We currently run our HP3000s as POP3 server as well.

G'day List,
I am running a wee report job overnight that is critically important.
What I am thinking of doing is trying to have that report sent from the
HP3000 to our Lotus Notes email system to be sent directly to the user.
I am thinking that sendmail is what i should use, but never having used
sendmail on any platform I am not sure.
There may be other means of doing what I want so please feel free to
advise/comment. I may need a 'dummies guide to sendmail' if that is the
way to go.
