Well, I talked to my school's administration, and they are battling
over whether or not to get an HP3000. I'm really interested in John
Beckett's Series 42, since it is a true MPE V system, and since I haven't
been able to find anything running MPE/iX which we, on a zilcho spending
budget, could afford. Unfortunately, John's mail server has not been
recieving my Email, so I 'm posting here in case he can see
this. Does anyone know actual numbers concerning 42 speed ratios
(relative Series 48 and/or 947, which are the only 3000's I've used), and
user capacity, power req, space dimensions?

  Thanks
