Have your customer issue the following command before they perform the
store:

DEVCTRL.MPEXL.TELESUP LDev, Compression=disable
or
DEVCTRL.MPEXL.TELESUP LDev, disable

where 'LDev' corresponds to the logical device number of the tape drive.

Greetings,

One of our customers creates 4mm tapes that are automatically compressed by
the tape drive. Thereafter, we can't read those tapes because our drive does
not support the compressed format.

What commands must be issued on the customer's HP/3000 in order to create an
un-compressed (regular) tape?
