There are two:

1. Troy XCD, Inc., a Troy Group Inc. Company
      www.xcd.com
Product: Troy XCD XConnect-IIL-T 10baseT assembly

2. Extended Systems, Inc.
      www.extendedsystems.com
      Product: ExtendNet 100s, ESI-2941

We use the Troy product here. Our network manager thinks it is easier to configure and make work than the Extended Systems product; however, our sister company uses the Extended Systems product and they are managing. I know they did have a time getting it to work though. Eventually, with the help of technical support they got it going and it does work. On the Troy unit, the instructions were clear .....no tech support needed to set up. They both work well. I don't know the price of either. Check out their websites for further info.

Who is the vendor for the "X-Connect" product?

We use a product called "X-Connect" that makes our 256x printers
a "networked" device. Very slick.

Of course it can, the rub might be that I could not use (networked)
a print server other than an HP. HP Jetdirect . I tried an Intel and
that would not work. I have Intel Switches that work great but not
Print Servers.
