Not so fast... Has every HP3000 shop *examined* and (if necessary)
*converted* its date-oriented information with Adager yet (and its
application programs with other tools)? The machine may very well be
capable of running beyond 2000 (as the HP3000 certainly does), but the big
question has to do with the 2-digit year [sub]fields and their treatment by
application programs.

Adager's "Examine Date" functionality is freely available to any bona-fide
person who asks nicely for it (we are pleased to send complimentary
demonstration packages that you can run on your production databases).
Naturally, our kids have to eat and get shoes, so Adager's "Change Date"
functionality is available only to licensed Adager Model 2 customers.

I am willing to bet that Tim has already done his Y2K homework and is
sitting pretty. So, he is allowed to "forget" about the less fortunate
folks who still have that heavy burden on their shoulders.

Regardless of the specific Y2K status of specific HP3000 shops, I like the
idea of tying together "2000" and "3000" in a single "marketing" statement.
