I have been on a course for a couple of days so have read this thread
rather late. I have read all the suggestions (both pros and cons) but
would like to add my $0.002 anyway. I don't add it as a serious
suggestion but it is a fun idea to bandy about.

My suggestion for the name for the HP3000 is "Trillium".

I feel it combines the prefix "tri" for three and "llium," loosely being
part of Millenium or even more loosely suggesting three thousand! :o( .
I know it is also the name of a flower (quite a nice one, I might add)
but I like the ring of it.

Cheers,

John Dunlop
