$1,750 for an MPE class? Are you guys serious?
This is a platform that is on its way out. That's way too expensive.
We certainly wouldn't throw away that kind of money on any HP3000
training. Not now.
People would be much better off to get the MPEiX manuals and study those with
practical experience on their own boxes.
<<Alden Research and Paul Edwards & Associates are pleased to announce the
first available MPE training class from the authorized MPE education
organization, MPE-Education.Com, under an agreement with Hewlett-Packard. The original
training materials have undergone an extensive review and revitalization. The
first class to be offered is H3217S, MPE Fundamentals. The 5-day course date
is July 24, 2006-July 28,2006 and the cost is $1,750 per person. It will be
held using the new Virtual Classroom Environment, VCE, which uses an instructor
led, web based format. This format eliminates the cost and work disruption of
travel to a classroom site. Registration and course details are available on
the www.mpe-education.com web site. Full payment must be received one week prior
to the start of the class for each student enrolled. A minimum of 3 students
is required to commence the class. More course offerings will be available as
the materials review process progresses and the community interest in MPE
training continues. Please check the web site often for updates.
