FYI, information about the enhancements in IMAGE/SQL G.1 and ALLBASE/SQL G.1
(both of which will be available on the MPE/iX 5.0 Express 3 release) is now
available on jazz (URL http://jazz.external.hp.com), under the "View online
HP3000 related papers" link.
 
IMAGE/SQL G.1 features include indexed access in IMAGE/SQL (i.e. improved
performance because the SQL optimizer is now aware of TurboIMAGE search items,
key items, and third-party indexes) and Jumbo data sets.
 
Quick poll - Should I post a plain ascii version of this information to
this newsgroup too, or is jazz available to most of you?
