hi,
thanks for this, we had a similar problem. All the printer are shared
network printers (accessed through nbspool) so we also were without a system
printer, this caused jobs to hang in a wait state.
Tried various combinations of shutq, openq, startspool & stopspool and
stumbled across the solution - but never remembered the correct order....
for the one or two times it's been called upon.
Finally, the relevant commands in the correct order!!! I'll almost look as
though I know what I'm doing now :-)
