 ...forgot to mention that you need to link the nslookup program with
 a library that has the gethost... calls - i.e. socketxl.net.sys -
 i.e. if you have this problem:
 
  UNRESOLVED EXTERNALS: gethostbyaddr  (LDRERR 512)
  UNRESOLVED EXTERNALS: gethostbyname  (LDRERR 512)
 
 
here's a succesful compile, link and run sequence:
 
:pasxl nslookup.source,,$null
:link $Oldpass;xl="socketxl.net.sys"
 
:$oldpass localhost
Name:     "localhost.cup.hp.com"
Address:   127.0.0.1
number of alias names = 0
