OCTCOMP'ing the CM programs (providing no PM is involved) can give you
upto 80% of the benefit of converting to NM in most cases.  So you might
consider this for the more frequently used programs and then monitor the
system performs.  I generally prefer taking small steps and checking the
results before investing heavily in major steps.
