This is a technical OpenView (System Manager) question. OV/SM works using a
string "NMEV#n"
(where n is a number 1 to 4) inserted in the Console message from either the
system catalog or the user
Tellop. This triggers OV and supplies the severity level(1-4). The NMEV string
is stripped out of the Console
message before it is sent to Ldev 20 (or the Console) so it is never seen. My
problem is that I want to trap
this string to obtain the severity level and HP haven't come up with a way to
suppress the stripping of the
NMEV.

Does anyone have any ideas ?
