Several people have mentioned HP's statements to the fact that the 925, 935
& 949 systems are the only Spectrum HP3000s which will not be supported for
the year 2000.
My question is whether this is similar to the statement that certain things
are not "supported" but they still seem to work. Does anyone know if there
is a definite problem with the clocks on these systems that will cause them
to stop working on 1/1/2000? Is 5.5 supported on these boxes? Will future
versions of MPE/iX 6.0 & 7.0 (that support all the year 2000 fixes) not be
able to be put on these boxes? Does it have to do with the fact that LDEV
1 can not be a large enough drive to handle these operating system upgrades?
An inquiring mind wants to know?
Thanks for any info anyone might have!
