One correction to Ken's plea - and additional information on possible
problems:

If you have any problems, please send them to [log in to unmask]

This way - someone sees them timely - it could be me, but it may not as I am
attempting to finish a project and may not have my e-mail client on - but
somebody does :)

Those problems we did have were one of the following:

1. MSIE 5.0 Beta 2 or less - (apparently folks didn't see this on the first
instructional page) - use of this browser is *not* recommended as the ballot
form may not render well. If you do use it, and are successful, great. If
you have any problems, please do NOT contact us about it. We are fully
aware of MSIE 5.0 Beta browser problems and are NOT answering questions
about it. Please revert back to MSIE 4.01 production. (Side Note: Those
with newer, Refresher/RC versions should have no trouble at all, but there
are only about 1000 of these in circulation in the world at this time). If
you are a registered MS Beta Tester for MSIE 5 - please report this to MS --
and since you are a registered MS Beta Tester, you KNOW where to report it
(WINREP on the beta site which will not be mentioned here, as well as in the
private newsgroup - also not to be mentioned here).

2. If you use Netscape 4.05 or 4.5: If you run into problems either with a
missing variable message, or if your ballot form does not render correctly,
please close any running applications except the browser and REFRESH the
page (Hit the Refresh button, and reply YES to "Post from existing data?"
message. The ballot form is LARGE (60 questions, 60 text boxes, 120
dropdowns with five options each and two pushbuttons). During design, we
toyed with the idea of breaking it up over three-four pages but felt that
since the "10 votes over 60 items" issue could confuse people who would have
to navigate their way BACK through pages to fix thir ballots -- or at the
very least, frustrate, we opted for one big page. If you still have
trouble, please e-mail the support address above.

3. We will issue you a cookie. Please accept it (in this case, sweets are
mandatory :). If your browser is set to refuse cookies, you will have
problems - you will need to accept our cookie in order to vote.

4. Netscape 2.x and lower - falls under the same category as MSIE 5.0 Beta.
You may see problems, or it might work - we are not answering questions on
this version. Likewise for MSIE 2.x. Both have more problems than
successes.

Supported Browsers:
MSIE 3.x, 4.x (Windows, Mac, Unix)
Netscape 3.x, 4.x (with caveats above; Windows, Mac, Unix)
CompuServe 4.0 (a version of MSIE 4.x; Windows Only thus far)

If your browser works and not listed above, great. If not, and it's listed
above, please let us know. If it's not listed above, let us know (except
those we ask you not to tell us about - MSIE 5 Beta and anything lower than
MSIE/NS 2.x.

If all else fails, we will do the following for people who we feel need it
(or request it if they cannot vote via web for a valid reason) - we will ask
you to send us your vote (by e-mail at [log in to unmask] or fax at +1 (215)
943.8408), not by telephone please) and we will cast it for you. We DON'T
want the fact that your browser has trouble rendering the form, or a problem
getting through the sequence getting in the way. We have all voted and
would not be swayed, so again, if we ask you to send your ballot to us (if
you wish), and you do so, we will confirm that it was entered by sending
back a confirmation that it was cast.

Best Regards,
Joe (IV coffee drip going)
