Many have replied in favor of this enhancement, but have also added the
need for a safeguard mechanism so as to try and prevent a 'user' from
inadvertantly causing serious problems.

I, on the other hand, am voting no. The reason is not that this would be
a useful enhancement. Instead I would much rather see Jeff/HP spend their
valuable, very limited resources on other things which *only* HP can
provide. (If, on the other hand, HP had unlimited resources, there probably
wouldn't be any backlog of enhancements and Jeff would have done it during
his lunch hour!)

Given only $100 to spend, this is not one of the items I would spend my
$/votes on. There simply are too many other good ideas/improvements which
only HP can provide effectively that I would prefer them to progress than
something like this where there already are several simple techniques for
purging privileged files.

We as a group sometimes tend to look at these things singularly and not
collectively with all the other items we've suggested that HP provide. If
one looks at the 'big' picture, I believe that this item would not even be
close to the top half of the list!

My $0 worth (I believe I can only vote in whole dollars....)

(P.S. I received a private note back from Bryon that the simply
STORE;PURGE technique handled it for him.)
