NOBODY EVEN THINK ABOUT starting any long 10 day session over this.  Al,
I know you want to make sure that you aren't getting
ripped off I don't blame you.  I think if you called them back and
talked about what was reasonable and did a cost
comparison to maybe 3 other vendors that would be more realistic than
posting this to the -L.

If you want a quote call me. But like any other vendor I'm sure Cognos
is willing to hear what would be feasible for
this project for you. Don't forget, the guy you called only has a price
sheet to go by and probably no clout behind him.  Escalate it up and
work with them.
