Hi Alain

I know about a product IF9000HP/S produced and distributed in Germany by
a company called DATEC GmbH (tel: 040 7101051 fax: 0407101051).

This is a hardware box, enabling epson/ibm compatible third party
printers (at least OKI dot printers) to support HP4s ROMAN-8 character
set and the HP2934 protokoll. This means that the printer also recognizes
error messages such as paper out or paper jam.
