These are the latest programs given to the Interex for distribution
to its members:

Name: DUPFILE Number: 5346
Title: Duplicate file finder
Written by: Kraig M Kasten OS: MPE V/XL

Although you cannot have duplicate file names in the same group,
you can have them in different groups and accounts. This program is
designed to give you a list of the files with duplicate file names.

Name: LOGADJ Number: 5344
Title: Utility to adjust/report the state of system logging
Written by: Guy Smith OS: MPE XL

NOTE: THIS CONTRIBUTION SUBMITTED WITHOUT SOURCE CODE

MPE/iX allows system administrators to log events to system log
files ([log in to unmask]). These records prove valuable in determining
the source of problems, predicting performance trends, and more.

The problem is that the HP "blesssed" way to enable or disable any
any logging of an event is to (a) run SYSGEN, (b) enable/disable the
event and (c) REBOOT THE SYSTEM!!! LOGADJ allows a system
administrator to enable or disable system wide event logging on
an event by event basis, without shutting down the system, or
  changing the bootup configuration.

Name: SJX Number: 5345
Title: SJX is a *rough* clone of the SHOWJOB command
Written by: Guy Smith OS: MPE XL

NOTE: THIS CONTRIBUTION SUBMITTED WITHOUT SOURCE CODE

SJX is a *rough* clone of the SHOWJOB command. It does not behave
in the same way, or produce exactly to same output. It does not
attempt to replicate CIERRORs when problems are encountered. However,
it does allow the reporting of several selected jobs (#s1+j2+s3),
allows the list to be sorted on one or several fields (sort by
logon date/time, account, CPU use) and can report selected fields.
Each of these functions is useful in reducing screen clutter and/or
providing tabular data for other programs.
