From a PowerHouse quick reference guide dated 1985 (version 4.0):

  640 QDD compiled dictionary file
  641 QUICK compiled screen file
  642 QUIZ compiled report file
  643 QTP compiled run file
  644 subfile that includes minidictionary
  645 QKGO execution-time parameters
  646 reserved
  647 reserved
  648 reserved
649 interim minidictionary created by QTP

Now, this was before they supported portable subfiles. I just created a
portable subfile with a newer version (v8.19.C3) and found

  647 portable subfile minidictionary file
648 portable subfile data file (note: the file name also has
       "Q" appended)

And finally, for newer versions, I think since 7:

  655 PHD compiled dictionary file

Sorry, don't know what 650-654 are (if anything)

HTH!
