Jack, I agree, good point. Without BULDACCT and the right STORE parms , 
you don't really have a "FULL" backup.

In reference to a "not too small machine", I agree, it would not be good 
to do a sysgen "tape [log in to unmask]@.@", as to need more than one tape..

As a well known Detective once said: " Just the Operating System Ma'am", 
no user volumes or application accounts.

Maybe "tape store=/;Directory;ONVS=MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET" would work, 
if tape passes all these parms to STORE, and the user volumes are not 
mixed up with the system volume.
