If your referring to the field order of the record,
its the same order as defined in the schema. The data
is a binary image of the record. You can use DISK2DB to
put them back into a matching dataset.

If you mean what record order are they written,
I believe that its in the same order in which the records
were found. So something like FIND ALL <itemname> would
most likely be a serial read of the dataset.
