Harold,

CORRECTION: EOF should be 635 - told you the mind was out.

Subject: Help install HPSL reactive patches

I'm a newbie to th software side of HP 3000 machines and patching the
OS. So
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've just got a HP 968RX with 6.0. I'm trying to install Y2K patches for
6.0, but UNPACKP is failing at MOVER.PRVXL.TELESUP. This is what I get:

        ----------------------------------------------------------------------
        MOVER/iX (A.00.02) MPE iX - HP3000 Software Support Tool
MON, AUG 7 1995 8:00 AM Copyright Hewlett Packard Co. 1995
        .
        .
        .
        ----------------------------------------------------------------------
        Unloading truck '/SYS/INSTALL/BRWKXF3B':
FCODE SIZE EOF LIMIT ACCESS FILENAME
        Creating directories in path: '/AUTOPAT'
             0 80B 1198 1198 -rw-rw--- AUTOPAT
        Creating directories in path: 'P00KXF3B'
          1030 128W 6634 6634 -rw-rw--- P00KXF3B
        Unrecognized token '#201'.

        END OF PROGRAM

I downloaded the patches from HPSL to a gateway machine then to this
machine
inside the gateway using FTP in binary mode.

Thanks in advance for any help.

        Harold.
