I've got a 947, running 192 megs of ram, 4 gig disc, and MPE 6.0.

I've been trying to get all of the network interoperability stuff
working, and I've got a lot of interest in the Samba product. We've
also got an NT network running here, so I figured it would be an
interesting exercise to get the 3000 and the NT talking.

At best, I've managed to get the actual server box talking to the
HP3000. The Windows 95 workstations can see the 3000 on the network
neighborhood list, but cannot access it, spending a few moments
(actually like 30 seconds to a minute) then saying "Cannont access
computer HP947"

I haven't been able to get DNS action happening, and I thought I had
SYSLOG working, but upon recent investigation, I don't think its
working. Any help here would be great. I thought I had followed the
setup directions in the manual pretty well, but ... I'm not sure if
there were any additional steps for installation.

Any information regarding adjacent programs that need to be running,
or necessary 'trick' steps that are common mistakes would be helpful.
Thanks everyone.
