Interesting that there's no acknowledgement of vendor as business
partner.
In my job here, I'm trying to impress upon mgmt. the importance of
developing relationships with business partners, and purchasing
products/services from vendors. Vendors come and go, but a business
partner will have a vested interest in your success.
Fwiw, I'm thinking that in terms of the product commitment thread,
responsible business partners <<Flame Suit ON>> like hp (at times) would
create an environment of understanding between themselves and their
other business partners....the economics of pumping $$$ into a 30+year
old proprietary OS in an increasingly 'open' world is
questionable....<<Flame Suit OFF>>
Completely annoyed by the impending demise of The Box That Rocks....
Yours in /iX,
Al Karman
